WorldWid Fellows Program (WWID): USAID/WID
The Worldwide Women in Development (WorldWID) Fellows Program is one of the activity elements of the USAID Gender Action Plan. The Fellows program is designed to improve the institutionalization of women in development (WID) within USAID. Our program provides technical experts within and outside USAID with WID training to increase their knowledge of gender and WID issues and assist them in translating and integrating their knowledge into their own areas of technical expertise and USAID's programs. WWID offers to Missions the assistance of mid-career professionals with sectoral and regional expertise and a capacity to incorporate gender analysis into their Mission activities. Unlike participants in other fellows programs, WorldWID Fellows are seasoned technical experts provided at little or no cost.
