Project Management Unit for Agricultural Policy Reform Program (PMU): USAID/Cairo

ARPR-PMU provides technical assistance to a sector grant program to create competitive market systems by removing barriers to the private sector. In promotion of this goal, DATEX is providing the services required for day-to-day operational, administrative and financial management support to the PMU. Specifically:

• Development and utilization of a computerized system for tracking implementation of the technical assistance for the APRP
• Developing a unified reporting system for the quarterly progress reports, annual workplans, annual reports and other reports to be submitted by the various contractors in accordance with their respective contract provisions
• Consolidating these reports into a unified/simplified format
• Coordinating Task Forces' activities
• Maintaining time and attendance records, authorizing and making payments to the PMU's personnel, procurement of office supplies and local short-term professional services, maintenance of office space and elevator service, and payment of utilities
• Contracting short-term expatriate consultants
• Training PMU staff to maintain established systems to meet ongoing requirements when contract is complete
