DATEX possesses a wealth of experience in the environment, energy and urban sectors and currently holds one IQC with USAID's Global Bureau for the Environment. DATEX’s work includes drafting urban pollution compliance standards, implementing community-based environmental management plans, conducting environmental assessments and strengthening host-country environmental institutions to improve their environmental management capability.

DATEX has completed numerous concrete studies under various programs to include: project design for the Cairo Improvement Project, technical assistance for development of a lead smelter action plan, cement industry activity definition, development of technical specifications for CNG-fueled buses, and a review of Egyptian CNG-related standards.
